Her

She was a ten-dollar bouquet of flowers in a world of expensive candle-lit dinners.

She was a thick paperback book in a world of smartphones and tablets.

She was a three-page letter in a world of 140-character status updates.

She was a backpack traveler in a world of luxurious tourists.

She was a deep conversation in a world of small-talks.

She is simple-minded yet complex. She favours efforts and struggles. Even the littlest things. Because it’s the littlest things that mattered. Because she knows what it feels like to be underappreciated, unwanted and unwelcome in this world. But she doesn’t need the pity and sympathy for she does not truly belong in this temporary world. She belongs in so much more dimension – in Paradise with Him.
